GOD STRATEGICALLY SET IT UP FOR YOU TO WIN!

Matthew 20:16

16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

As a child, I remember learning, being taught to play the game of chess.  While my friends were out and about, enjoying the summer break; I was either reading, playing tennis, or learning chess, etc.  Unaware then, the one game I found detestable; now continues to be an intricate part of my life, imparting applicable lessons when least expected .  While many of my opponents were formidable, leaving me at times feeling unsure of my capabilities, in retrospect, today I am grateful for the challenges.

Nothing is ever wasted in our life journey, everything serves a purpose.  There are many pieces on the board, each serving different functions as they strategically move.  The player calculates each pieces progress, considers every advance a tactical attack with hopes of capturing the king. Always making advances and looking for a final play ending in checkmate. But why is it that the one piece often overlooked is the pawn?

Like many of you, I myself have at times been looked upon as a pawn, sometimes overlooked and even thought to be expendable.  However, an experienced chest player is aware of the necessity to look at the board slowly, anticipating their opponent’s moves before they are made.    In spite of what people see, remember this:

At any given moment, a pawn can become a queen with the ability to move with ease in any direction, giving her an advantage and a possible win if she moves with wisdom.  Yes, everything you have experienced in your life was for a purpose.  God makes no mistakes.  Be encouraged and know that even now, God has just rearranged the board for you to win!

Have a blessed day everyone...

Sitting quietly, I am reminded of a story I was told many years ago.  Even today, it reminds me that it is okay to be tender, not to concern myself with the standards set by man and to allow myself to be just who God created me to be.  A woman is tender and yet she is strong.  This was never synonymous with weak.  If you have never read or heard the story, I pray it blesses you today and brings a smile to you face.

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?"

"Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said.

His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he asked God:

"God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said, "When I made the woman she had to be special.  I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort. I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children. I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining. I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly. I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him. And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."

To every Woman reading this today, remember, you are beautiful, loved and you were fearfully and wonderfully made.

To every man reading this, treasure her, for she is a gift, your rib and the apple of Adoni’s eyes.

Psalm 139:14  (KJV) 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 17:8  (KJV) Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it you.

No matter how mature you think you are, there will be times when you face situations you cannot control. This is life at best. However, the one thing you can do is go to the One that placed the stars in the sky, tells the sun when to rise and set as well as the moon. Okay, let’s take it one step further!

Go to the God of all creation and stop thinking you have to face everything alone. I myself have to remember this occasionally. And while some days can be challenging, this too is life. Now, put your head up and keep walking the path set before you. God already knew you would have a moment of uncertainty, just don’t unpack and stay there. You’re fine. Remember: It’s okay to be tired, but it’s never okay to quit. You have a great destiny awaiting your arrival and you shall be on time!

 Have a blessed day everyone...

Isaiah 45:3 (KJV)

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

During the quite times, these are the moments that speak volumes.  Sitting today, God reminded me of several Words spoken into my heart.  As I sat working on a project, He reminded me how every word He spoke to me He Himself would confirm.  Today, I share with each of you these words.

Remember:  You’re carrying and have been entrusted with hidden treasures.

You won’t always understand what I AM doing in your life, the seasons must change, yet MY love remains. Even as snow covers a field, buried beneath are seeds which I have tenderly planted. They shall take root and break soil at an appointed time. Upon occasion your heart shall feel; experience the burden of my pull. These are but fleeting moments, you are to find a peace in MY presence, sit at my feet quiet, be still before ME.

It is in total trust that you shall see my hand moving over your life; allowing you to experience all I have prepared. Yes, there will be days you discern, experience the heaviness of the journey when days of loneliness would attempt to consume you. Look to me, for I am closer than a friend, never leaving you, always guiding you with my love. It is within the crevices of MY heart that you shall be found. You have been transformed, and hidden is the treasure close within, buried in My heart.

And while you have seen the path ahead as a milestone to overcome; continue walking, continue believing every Word I have spoken to you. Even as the winds have violently blown your footing has not been lost; even as the waters rose above your head giving you a fear of drowning, you are safe. I have stopped the winds of destruction, commanded the waters to recede for you. As you walk, trusting even when you cannot see, even so shall you witness the execution of each Word I have released over your life.  You have but to acquiesce, trust ME.

Have a blessed day everyone...
